For better user experience, CWpro will adjust the Tiered Margin System during 2:00 - 7:00 (UTC) on October 9, 2022, as follows:
1. The calculation of the margin ratiois optimized. When the margin ratioin a position is smaller than 100%, partial liquidation or full forced liquidation will be triggered;
2. New insurance fund is introduced to resist the risk of forced liquidation and avoid related loss.

The updates will have no impact on CWpro futures service. Users without any orders or positions prior to the adjustment can trade normally. However, after the adjustment, partial liquidation or forced liquidation for all newly opened positions will be performed according to the new Tiered Maintenance Margin Ratio System.
If you have orders or positions prior to the adjustment, the order will be triggered and closed normally, and the position will not be impacted. But you will not be able to place an order for a new position while the margin can be added normally. Instead, you have to cancel the previous order or close the position before you place a new order. New orders will be partial liquidated or forced liquidated according to the adjusted tiered maintenance margin system
Please keep track of your position, add margins or reduce the number of contracts in time to control the risks.
